Is it possible that these skins do not work for Windows Vista 64? I seem to be unable to apply any skin that I download.

Would it be possible to create a mod that would make "fog of war" coloured red or something? Would be very helpful for cartographers.
I've tried but I suck at modding, apparently. I'm good at loading them though

how about making a window that keeps track of who on the other team have died. Would certainly make it easier for spike-builds to target the easier to kill targets.
Maybe something similar to the party window, but showing enemy names with the number of deaths behind it and also allow quick selecting (same idea as with the party window, but then you select an enemy).
If you can get that to work, without violating anything that Anet has made, it would be very nice indeed .

Check it out, I made a system where it compares your map with the map of a grand master cartographer.
All the green highlighted areas are areas I've yet to uncover (that are uncovered on the cartrographer's map) all the pink areas are areas that I have uncovered that the grand master hasn't.

Any possibility of uploading this file to Megaupload?
I always download from Rapidshare and have to wait like 200mins for another download.

Is it necessary to start GW through texmod every time to access the mods? I'm lazy.

Yup. Unless a shortcut can be made via either some programming, or just a BAT file.
I think its most likely that you will need to start Texmod everytime.

Good job man, I really enjoy the new stance animations, and the crit hit thing. Not to mention the effectiveness of the 50% line(tho a deep wound makes it useless), and I agree that adding a 75% or 80% one would be nice too.

I have a few questions about this mod. I am wondering as I have a strict policy against running 3rd party stuff that I lack the source code too so my questions are as follows:
1. Is this program a client hook or graphics wrapper?
2. Is this just a pak editing job of sorts as you might do for a quake engine based game.
3. If it is a hook or wrapper in nature does guildwars have any anti cheat sort of counter measures ie: you could be banned because of the way this modifies the game.
4. I am wondering what you have completely discovered can be modified client side. It is suffice to say entity position is transmitted to the client so I was wondering how much more is possible for an advanced radar or possibly other features that might improve gameplay.
5. I think after this basic info I might take a stab doing something of this nature.

New beta released.
From the read me:
Quote:
GWPickup Mod Beta 2.
New in this version:
-The skillbars and skill icon borders have been changed to be clearer and slicker
-various other fixes
Install Instructions:
First Close Guild Wars.
1. Unzip texmod.exe, UImod.tpf and GWPickupmod.tpf to your Guild Wars folder.
2. Run Texmod.exe and at the top of the program, click on target application and browse for gw.exe
3. Click on Package Mode
4. Click the small folder icon to browse for tpf files
5. Add UImod and GWPickupmod to the list on the left
6. Click Run
Features in this version:
- Dying PVP skins silver activates a special skin for that weapon
- This version contains only warrior weaponry skins, the others will come later
- User interface completely reskinned
- Radar complete reskinned, allows user to see slightly further and shows spirit range
- Frenzy Skill effect changed
- Glyph lesser energy skill effect changed (may be removed in final version)
- Glyph renewal skill effect changed (may be removed in final version)
- Rush skill effect changed
- Critical hits now display the words "critical hit" along with a nice animation when they occur
- New health bars now mark 50% for ZB usage
- GVG flags are skinned (may be removed in final version, buggy when capping flags)
- New Guild Wars logo on login screen
- Ranger spirit skins changed
-The skillbars and skill icon borders have been changed to be clearer and slicker
Known Bugs:
-The GVG flags sometimes screw up when they're capped.
-Some people have told me they experience odd texture errors, if this happens to you, alt+tabbing or minimising the game will fix it.

Good work, i like the 50% idea, 80% would also be cool.
Good work on the crit thingy aswell, though i would like only those and not other things aswell with it.
